Confirmation

Confirmation is the third sacrament of initiation and serves to "confirm" a baptized person in their faith.

Each year the church extends an invitation to our young people in Grade 7 from St. Michael Academy, to prepare for the celebration of the Sacrament of Confirmation.  

Confirmation candidates need to have been baptized prior to the reception of Confrmation.

Only Children whose families are registered and who attend Good Shepherd Parish will  receive the sacraments in our parish.  This in compliance with Archdiocesan directives.

Candidates are required to participate in sessions at Good Shepherd prior to receiving the Sacrament.

Confirmation is usually celebrated in the Spring.
